What is maplestory the afterlands?

MapleStory's "The Afterlands" is a spooky, enchanting zone added in version 166. The Afterlands is one of the Maple World's oldest regions, and it's famous for its strange history. This eerie place populated entirely by ghosts, is available to those Lv. 75 and above and can be accessed via a quest from NPC, Edea, located in town. The major quest-line of The Afterlands focuses around five different regions, each with their own boss and unique quest-line. Completing these regions will give access to the central hub where players can receive and complete daily quests for special rewards. The Afterlands is known for its reward system, which grants atypical goodies such as unusual chairs, totems, and weapon skins.
